It seems that I demand a lot from a potential lover… it’s because I demand a lot from myself.
I’m insane. That’s the only explanation. You cloud my judgement. You defy my logic. You make me crazy with these sleepless nights. I endure these moments of weakness when no one else can see me struggle. I can’t have you and I guess that’s okay. I steal glances only to hope that one day I’ll steal your kisses. I have to let you go and live life. I have to find my own answers too. I’m doing this for you; letting you go. I can’t steal you from the life you’re meant to live. Maybe one day that you and I can become “us.” In the meantime, I’ll dream, I’ll drop hints. I’ll be around. That’s all I can really do and maybe God will bring us together. He has a crazy way of getting my life to unfold.
I just hope I’ll get that chance one day to tell you. If not, then quietly knowing how I felt about you will be something I’ll cherish. After all, that’s probably much more than I deserve from you.
